For me, I want a operating system that allows me to work in one environment without rebooting because it works with all of my hardware and 3ds, and it also allows for 3d acceleration. I'm willing to give up a degree of stability and security I could care less about. Maybe by the time I can afford dual alpha systems vendors would have decided to release drivers for NT then again an alpha system would probably support less hardware then the current system. Microsoft has a lot of evangelizing to do, I don't see how its going to be done.
