I disagree with you…. I've programmed boh the Mac (for a short time).. and the Amiga.. and the AMIGA is most definitely the easier of the two! On the MAC, you *MUST* conform to Apple's way of coding. You MUST have (a5) relative variables, and you MUST do all that convoluted resource management… whereas on the Amiga, your program is what you WANT to make it. You can either conform to the OS.. or totally ignore it with no ill effects! On Amiga, you can use as much or as little of the OS and KERNEL as you deire.. whereas on the Mac you are pretty much forced to do *EVERYTHING* 'their way!'
