I've been playing around with DBW render. First thing you MUST do is set your stack to at least 10000 using the CLI "STACK 10000" command. I personally tend to use 50000. I'm not certain what you mean with processing Deluxe Paint through Ray. Ray produces a <something>.TMP output file. Ray2 takes that <something>.TMP and produces a <something>.ILBM output file, which is displayable with any good picture display program, and editable with any paint program capable of handling HAM pictures. (Deluxe Paint can NOT do this, although you can run Ray2 in such a way as to produce a 32 color non-HAM image… Not very good looking, though…) In rereading your note, it sounds like you're trying to load a Deluxe Paint picture into Ray??? Ray accepts a text file as input, which MUST be named <something>.DAT. To run Ray, type RAY <something>. Do not specify the extension, or it will crash.
