No, true; we will never get more than maybe 20% of Amiga owners using ARP unless Commodore picks it up. I could write new stuff 26 hours per day and pay people $10 per disk to use it, and we'd still never get everyone to use it. Such is life. True, you can put characters like "#?(|)" into file names, but nobody does because they have to be ESCaped in order to be used. Similar with characters like space and the Copyright symbol; if developers expect a program to be run from CLI, they don't stick those characters in the file names. Anyhow – here's a quick solution for the problem with BRACES, which will probably solve the problem for WordPerfect – instead of typing the BRACE character, type a "?" QuestionMark. This will match on any single character, but should suffice; I haven't tried it, but think it should even handle creating directories with the embedded {} characters. …cheath
