I would concur in your "price level" criteria for genlocks, but think we should mention to Ron that he should NOT get a Magni if he will be creating animations on more than one system. There have been numerous individual cases of animations not playing at proper speeds on the Magni board when they are transferred from creation machines that do not have the board. This is also, obviously, an issue in any possible service bureau environment where machine-to-machine interface becomes crucial.
