Vic, Those problems mean your BridgeBoard isn't quite seated properly and/or the bus translator chips (the square chips on the Bridgeboard) are not quite tight in the sockets. Any (even slight) mis-seating of the BridgeBoard causes those chips to become intermittent with exactly the symptoms you describe. What fixed my board was to remove the chips (using the proper tool! … that's VERY important) and slightly bend out the socket contacts and then re-insert the chips. Do NOT get carried away bending the contacts out, about a 1/16" is plenty. Don
