If your daughter doesn't know what to do with Amateur radio, she'll fit right in. Most of us had no idea what we wanted to do when we started, only that it seemed an attractive way to waste er spend time. I'm a new ham and have recently started exploring packet radio, particularly, packet bbsing. That's bbsing without toll or long distance charges. When I started my Novice class, I had no idea what packet radio could be, let alone that I would be up to my neck in it. 🙂 – Don
