Dom,
I'll pass on the merits of the 2 drives and the controller. The reason
is I have little experience with them. I use an _old_ 2090 controller. I
have 2 ST-506 HDs on it plus a SCSI. If I were to get a SCSI only
controller I'd have to get rid of the ST-506 drives or buy an adaptor for
them. Because of that I've not kept up with the pros and cons of various
controllers — I want to maintain ST-506 compatibility (at least until I
can afford to replace my 2 ST-506 HDs).
