But Betty, that is exactly why I don't think the 2500 uses the Quantum, and the 3000 does. The 3000 now comes with a 50MB drive standard, but the 2500 comes still with only a 40MB. I know that the 2500 I used to have (020) was a Rodime. Perhaps CBM's literature was wrong but the educational price list (dated August 15) lists the 5MB ram in 2500 as standard and the 50MB HD in the 3000 as standard but still shows a 40MB in the 2500s. Perhaps CBM is unloading leftover stock. — Ethan
