If your computer hasn't hung (evident by your discription of using the esc key to get back to the 3D editor), it would seem that your rendering is taking a bit more time than you had anticipated. Try again and let it go — it *should* eventually render. Maybe there is some swapping going on during the "preparing mesh" segment of the rendering process? This would definitely lengthen the rendering process. Just a thought… -Alan Iglesias
