Tony,
thanks very much for you help. You guessed right. The camera is following a
path as well as the TRACK object does.
I tried to use the 'final y rotation' and it worked ok for the final position,
but it seems that this value comes into effect very late. I have a camera
movement from frame 70 to frame 150 and it starts to rotate in the right
position at frame 140 (!) or something.
Maybe the problem is that I have placed my whole scene (all the objects)
somewhat odd, meaning in the top view I see the front of the object and in the
front view I see all object from the top. I dunno how I did this (maybe because
I have one object morphing and I didn't know how it would look after the
morph). OTOH there must be a way to align the camera in any position correctly.
I'll have to try a little more I think. Wouldn't it be logical if the y
rotation (or whatever it is, I mean the axis that equals the view axis) is
controlled by the track object?
Maybe I'm spoilt because I'm a freelance cameramen. I'm still waiting for a
program that lets you control the camera as natural as in reality.

PS: I don't have the book you mentioned, but fortunately here in Germany
Imagine is sold with a very good german manual/book. I haven't looked into the
original manual so far. <g>
