Jawohl, Chicago is true 32 bit. There are three major distinctions (to my mind) between Chicago and NT. 1) NT has a lot more support for being a network OS in addition to a desktop OS. 2) NT has a much better protected mode for stopping bad apps from crashing the whole system. 3) NT can use symmetric multiprocessing. i.e., I want to double my speed, so I buy an extra processor and drop it in.
