Hello, I work with a computer game company in North Carolina. Our next project will be using rotoscoped video over 3d-Studio output. We must work at a resolution of 640×480. My understanding is that i must do the capture in to a frame buffer. I plan on doing this by using a Diaquest 422+ and VTR. I have experience using a Targa+ but i am under the impression that it can't capture at 640×480 at 32 bits per pixel. Here are my Questions. 1. If i am capturing from video that was shot by a professional using a blue screen, and I capture at 640×480 at 32 bits per pixel , will my image be captured with the correct alpha channel? 2. What frame buffer cards are recomended for this task? I have been looking the Atvista from Truevision and the Matrox Illuminator Pro. I any one can suggest any others please do so. Thanks for any input. Steve Clayton Random Programming
