"hung up" is such an ambiguous phrase <g>. Are you getting any error messages,
or does it just hang. If you leave the computer alone for a long time, does it
make any forward progress?
If this is a new computer, check in your autoexec.bat file for a line calling
"power". This is a energy saving program that is incompatible with 3ds. Delete
or rem out this line if it exists.
