#WFWG drivers w/Stealth
sorry if this appears 2b a duplicate posting..but I think this is the right
group, and I have done more research since the last posting:
I have added a new p5-75 to my rendering farm…all of my machines are running
windows for workgroups. When I try to start 3dsr4 from Windows, the screen goes
black and I have to reboot. (WFWG is set for a 1024×768 16m colors diamond
stealth 64 video pci w/4mb RAM)
When I try to run 3ds4 from DOS w/o a net connection..(as a workstation)
everything works OK (except that I get an error message that the network
drives aren't available…of course..) It is set for 1024×768 w/16.7m Vibrant
drivers. Everything runs fine except that I have no network connections…which
of course makes it useless
Any ideas that might help?
