Brian (second reply) I just had a look at FLICIN.TXT and this is OK for LINKING files using MPLAYER and you are quite right, LINKED files will not give the "SAVE CHANGES" message. My need is to embed NOT link – within Lotus Notes only files which are embedded will be replicated to other users so embedding is absolutely vital. The Notes MediaManager is actually a better player than MPLAYER as it freezes the animation on screen at the end of the play and allows the user to rewind or replay using buttons actually on the animation screen. Any other bright ideas much appreciated…… Best regards CARRON.
