My BBS gives subscribers a copyrighted program called SVARY (super VARY) that has 10 slots for color, with adjustable hold and transition times. When people ask why VARY is useful, I tell them that morph materials requires a copy of the mesh for each changed material. Plus, material change keys may not all fall at the same point. Also, with VARY in a material, face subsets can change material within an object quite easily. I use VARY (actually SuperVary) a lot! Jim
