Chuck, While 4.06 has some much appreciated improvements, I must say it's a lot less stable on my system than earlier versions. I did succeed in eliminating the guaranteed system crash that accompanied a second click on VideoB. That was by getting the crouton count on that drive below 200 (file count 400 including .I files). However, other mysterious flakiness has appeared. As an example, this morning, while creating a Flyer Still from DV1 using monitor out, the attempt to save it to VideoB caused a crash. After rebooting, a crouton of a file folder had appeared as the first crouton in the VideoB bin. I could not "play" it or delete it. Trying to delete it produces a message "Unable to delete FlyerB: Undefined error condition". In addition, in the new clip window, the time available, including reorganized time (in HQ5), has gone from 10 minutes before the crash, to 18:58:55:00. Fortunately, all the clips I've tried to play from VideoB play as before. But I'm still concerned. What is this undefined error condition and what are the implications? Should I create any new clips on that drive? Delete any old ones? How do I get an accurate "time available" readout? Do you recommend reorganizing the drive? Not reorganizing? Backing up and reformatting (ugh… 8 hours for a backup and restore)? Thanks Mark
