Martin, Thanks for your suggestion. I too thought it might be a disk problem but have noticed that, first of all, I am using the Galactic Ripple tutorial which uses a 320×200 flic on low pallette. In addition, it fails while encoding the 256-color image after rendering the first frame. If I reduce the number of frames from 300 to 10 and render, I get the same result. I've never had this problem before (without using Video Post), so I'm at a loss to explain it. FYI- I have 150mb of free disk space left- surely, enough space for a 320×200, 256-color, 10 frame flic. I'm really frustrated because my local A-desk dealer knows less about 3DS than I do (not very much). I had hoped A-desk would see this message and take ownership of this situation and help me, especially in light of the price I originally paid for the product. Any more advice would be appreciated.
