It's probably a config problem, it's definetly not 3ds "source code". Can you render .gif's or .tga's? You'll need to tell people a lot more about your system and configuration. Where is 3ds installed (drive and directory)? Tell us what happens when you type "cfig386 3ds.exe" in the 3ds directory. You should get a bunch of parameters. Give us a complete breakdown of your hardware and config.sys and autoexec.bat.
