#Map THIS!

I'm creating a very simple box as in packaging box, how much simpler can
you get! and I have a problem!
The objects:
1. A box! (7.25 x 9 x 1.5 ") the front of which receives a front
bitmap.
2.The side (9 x 1.5")(paper thin) to receive side bitmap.
3.The back (7 x 9")(paper thin) to receive back bitmap
The maps:
Bitmaps (3 tiffs) are to fit the front (big box) both sides and the
back. The tiffs were created for the most part in photoshop & HRQFX.
The problem is w/ the decalled bitmaps of the 2 attached sides and back
used to carry the side and back bitmaps. the bitmaped front attached to the
main box is perfect beyond my expectations…….the side and back however have
a semicircular white, half ellipse that extends into the map from the top that
is of a more course rez than the map! this occurs on the side "attached" box
and the back but not the main box which has the front bitmap!
In the mat editor: for the sides and back with "decal" turned "on", I get
the ellipse, but with "tile" turned "on", it does not appear (the repitition
makes this unusable though)!
Again, I don't have this problem w/ the front map on the main box object, just
the sides and back!
I hope this is clear enough, I never dreamed something this simple could
have probs!
BTW judging from the yearbook photos…….hey, dude, loose the
shades….you look like
you just stepped off the set of a movie like "risky business"! The only
shocker was Ted
