Steve, That's what I thought, but it can get confusing when dealing with printers that claim a certain dpi, but use a cluster of dots to produce colors or shades of gray, making their effective dpi a lot less. I remember printing an image at around 1024×768 to get a 8.5×11 picture on paper, with very acceptable results. I guess it all depends on the printer. Thanks, Don
