From what I gather, the MAC has a "list manager" which lets you put up
scrolling displays of names complete with scroll bar and arrows etc. This
gets used in the file + font + whateverelse requesters. The file
requester, I think, has a callout which gives you a standard requester that
is customized by some paramters. Hmm, where is that olde copy of "Inside
Mac" anyhow C-:
