The MAC has two file requesters: one is practacly called by PutFile (Prompt,FileName), all the gadgets are fixed, you have no control over them, this is the standard MAC requester. The other allows you to attach resources to the requester to make a custom requester using the standard one as a template. I have only seen the second one used for such things as allowing an 'Import Ascii' box to a Word Processors requestor. Of course both requesters allow you to limit the filetypes that can be selected and recieve errors.
