Barry,
Here is Matt Nathan's (author of Music-X manual) reply:
————————————————————–
There are two types of sequences in Music-X; relative and absolute. Absolute
time sequences can be edited using time code. A sequence is made relative
(based on beats) or absolute (based on seconds) when it is first recorded,
using a switch (highlighted box) titled "Absolute Time Seq" in the record
requester.
If you wish to build an absolute time sequence in the editor (as when typing
in events from a cue sheet), you must first go through the motions of recording
a blank absolute sequence from the sequencer page and then storing it.

Hope this answers your question. —Mike
