Betty,
If you construed my messages as being Commodore bashing, read them again. I
like this company… I have friends that work for the company… I want
Commodore Int'l to prosper! I am a stockholder, are you?
My point is simply: At an installed base of 3 million, Amiga Users are
still a small family. A commitment to quality (both perceived and
tangible) on the part of a manufacturer must involve it customers. Betty,
that is us.
If you enjoy using your Amiga, let Commodore know. If you have design
improvement suggestions, let Commodore know. The time to give strategic
advice is before the $6 million cost of market research + R&D + initial Ad
campaign. To put it another way, do you read Consumer Reports after you
spend $20,000 on a new car to see how well you guessed? Of course not! One
avails themselves of all pertinent information from a variety of sources
before the purchase decision is made.
