There were several things wrong with AmigaBasic other than breaking the
rules so it won't work on a 32bit processor. The editor was a joke there
were several bugs that never were corrected, and it was much slower than
you would expect from most Amiga programs, even an interpreter.As far as
32bit processors not being around when AmigaBasic was created, well I have
an old set of 1983 "IC Master" books and the Motorola MC68020 is listed in
those, and may have been before that. I've worked with Microsoft since
about 1978 when I was doing some programming on a CP/M machine and have
never been impressed with their products or customer service.
But enough of this MS Bashing 8^) OK, where is my cigar? Congratulations
with the new baby girl!! And Ben is just going to have to accept the fact
that she is better than gettin a new Ham-E, or anything else for that
matter 8^)
