You are right on the money with your comments!
Some months back, there was a long thread about an editorial that Dvorak
had written flaming about high CD prices! I agreed with him and got a lot
of flak on my comments, from CD publishers who are [still] selling stuff in
the many thousands of dollars per CD, and basically did not care about
selling higher volumes at lower cost to the general public (who are
starting to get CD ROM players).
I decided that the right thing to do was to compete, so I have been talking
with some venture capitalist friends about starting a company to do just
that (at lower prices obviously). I'll keep y'all posted if something pans
out!
