Yes…$700 is too much. $300 isn't too bad though, especially if
the applications take full advantage of the amount of video/audio that can
be put on a CD.
Yes, competition will bring the prices down…but I seriously doubt
that prices will drop to the $300 – $400 range for a year or so.
