You'll have Khalid's, too, as soon as 2.0 is released. Assuming you prefer it to the one in 2.0 (and I'd probably be willing to bet on that… <grin>) Lying – yep, a strong word. I guess I have a real problem reconciling "It's done, we're showing it at AmiExpo" and "It's not even near done, but we are working on it". Those statements contradict each other pretty strongly, I think. The first contention was made by WP to the AmiExpo people and the public from there, the second to Mike and the public from there (remember Mike sez that he had specific permission to go as far as he did). ————————————–right, we aren't able to compensate for that very well (nor is the rest of the OS). Regarding your environment… that's a little different, too. Your serial board problems are a good example; we use ASDG's DSB, and we have NO problems, also no problems with the CBM std port. You are using CBM's board, which they state has driver problems; We (Chris) have gone as far as to write code that works around some of the (so far) known problems in the CBM board. Also, as you know, we do not officially support 2.0 yet, all our s/w is developed and tested under 1.3, and will remain so until Enhancer kits are physically spotted at dealers, at which time we'll switch. Hopefully this week. :^) (crossing fingers). But in the mean time, there are differences in the OS's, and they can cause problems even though we try *very* hard to obey the rules set for the current release of the OS. Ben
