John, You're kidding me, right? An Amiga program that should bow out gracefully, _and_ tell the user _exactly_ why it's bowing out and what is required to make it work! It's so much more fun to crash the computer, and with the Amiga, you not only destroy the data in the program, but in any other program that happens to be running at the same time-that doubles the fun doesn't it. Let's see, my old CPM computer, as long as I used it, _never_ crashed running a commercial program. My friend with a Mac Plus, has never complained of a crash, and said he would consider getting an Amiga, but is constantly hearing about crashes. He has had trouble with his NEXT being fairly crash happy, though. Barry
