Will, So far so good – no further crashes since the last time I dropped you a note here. I've been using the sound recorder quite a bit, just goofing around and replacing the "stock" sound effects, and haven'thad any problems, even with a bunch of applications running. The only quirk I've seen is that the entire system (even the mouse pointer) seems to slow down after recording sound – I suspect the system may be playing housekeeping catchup after devoting a lot of CPU energy to 22 kHz recording. Any similar effects on your machine? The slowdown only lasts a little while, then everything is back up to speed. Odd, but I can live with it.
