Randy, I'm pleased so far with what I've done. The worst is over. I've got the fuselage, wings, tail, and the two pods on the back. I'm really only doing the outside shell. All I've got left is the back with the three rocket engines and the four thrusters on the pods. The resolution may not be high enough for some people, but it's high enough for me. I used the forms editor for the fuselage which has 24 slices at 28 points per slice; Also for the wing which has 15 slices at 17 points a slice; and the pods which have 6 slices at 15 points a slice. I'm working with a friend on a 30 second animation. By the way, be sure to get the latest issue of Avid. there is a trmemendously powerful article on professional lighting with Imagine. The author presents the concept of using many lights (12) to simulate real world lighing. He explains fully the reason for each light,it's position, and characteristics. As far as I'm concerned, lighting is the hardest thing for me to do in Imagine and that's probably because I only used two. I won't try that many lights until my Zeus board arrives which is still on backorder. BP – via Whap!
