DCTV & AmigaVision
Hi:
I'm working on a plan to have our company use multimedia for
presentations to customers, prospects, and for internal training.
I've gotten preliminary approval to use the Amiga platform (pulled
an upset I think!) and will be recommending a development system of
an A2000-A4000 (depending on what they want to spend) and a presentation
system of an A600HD.
With the A600 as the lowest common denominator in terms of graphics
modes, I'm thinking that we could upgrade a notch by employing DCTV with
each system.
DCTV would be portable enough, I would think, which is a requirement.
My question is in terms of applications. Could we use AmigaVison as
our MM engine with DCTV? That's what I've use so far in our prototype
system and I've been impressed with it due to its ease of use and flex-
ibility.
Any other recommendations or ideas you all have? We're looking to do
real-time, high quality interactive presentations with text, layered
graphics (e.g. diagrams that layer each piece one by one, building the
complete picture after a series of steps), some animations and sound.
