FC II
Michael, thank you for your comments on FCII. I know you were unhappy with
the original FC, and I am glad you feel differently about FCII.
To change the cyan color you are referring to, it is necessary to change it
from the Workbench palette. Unfortunately, we have no control over the
color Intuition uses to compliment selections. If you are using Workbench
1.3, however, you won't be able to modify the Workbench palette for that
color. Document Color Prefs only define colors used for text and graphics
drawn within FinalCopy. Perhaps we should include all colors used by a
screen in the Screen Color Prefs. I hope you will be able to modify your
Workbench palette.
There is no way of turning off the message you referred to. It was
installed as a safety mechanism to prohibit a user from accidentally
quitting the program before saving a changed document. The default is the
way it is so that the user must do something less automatic than hitting
the RETURN key to exit the program without saving the changes he has made
in a document.
Once again, I am happy you like FCII and appreciate your comments about it.
We will continue to support FC with significant and inexpensive upgrades.
