1)Yes Sherlock CDROM game is DOS based,No I am not trying to run
it under Windows.
2)Yes the SB Pro does produce system sounds and play .MID files under
Windows as its supposed to and does play .MID files under DOS.
Under Windows everything is fine (MS book shelf etc), Mic, audio CD
etc.
