Bamboo
Black Bamboo comes up green and gradually turns black. It might be, if the
culm (cane) is this year's growth that it is black bamboo turning black. There
is a mottled variety (much prized in Japan) call Bory which is mottled. There
are several Giant bamboos, a temperate bamboo, Phyllostachys pubescens, and the
tropical Giant Timber Bamboo, Bambusa oldhamii. I sell Black Bamboo and the
