The one thing I know for sure as a dealer on this forum…50 AD-DA-Boys still
don't wipe out 1 Oh-Sh__! and that's for sure! <G>
Therefore Dealer Forum Buys tend to be the safest.
I also don't want you or anyone else on the forum to misunderstand what I am
about to say next….as it certainly will be seen as "self serving" and I guess
I can live with that.
However…..I have followed the threads on the Hi8 verses the SVHS decks for
over a year and my impression was that those that used the Hi8 decks used them
primarily for VIDEO aquisition NOT Animation!
I seem to recall several threads where those using the Hi8 units for animation
ended up with a LOT of Drop-outs Etc….
Call me crazy but SVHS still seems like a better way to go than Hi8 FOR
ANIMATION.
I know I'm gonna hear about this, Soooo.. if you look back during the course of
the past year on this forum I'm sure that the truth will bear me out.
AnyONE care to comment on this, please do.
This is all about everyone getting the best possible entry level setup not is
BetaSP better than SVHS. So before you tell me you just stepped out of your
Porsche and now discovered that your Lexus is "unresponsive" consider this is
"Best Entry Level" were talking about.
