Well, the most notable deviants from RS232 and SCSI happen to be
those 'designed' to run on IBM PC(lones). Virtually EVERY other
platform that uses SCSI is a breeze to install SCSI on compared to
trying to do the same on a clone. Seems that ignoring specs goes with
the territory, so it isn't surprising that they get written FOR the
machine with a similar lack of caring about whether or not it is ever
followed. Sorry, but you've really hit one of my 'hot buttons' with
this one.
