Bill,
As a reformed TV producer (ten + years, two local Emmys), I can tell you that
the only reason our dear Ami will get its foot in the door is PRICE.
The machine I have at home does things we barely dreamed about at the start of
my career; paid tens of thousands for five years ago; and now can obtain for a
few thousand. Granted the "state-of-the-art" has stepped up a notch or two,
but, the prices havent
dropped that much.
The Bean Counters running TV today care not about quality -technical or
otherwiseor otherwiseall that counts is their bottom line.
And, Ami fits nicely!
