I ordered one Mon and was also told they were out of stock and on b/o.
Wed morning I went out to get the paper and there it was on the doormat,
so much for signature required..
Seems to work ok with CIS and my local user BBS, the only thing I
noticed was that on connecting to the BBS I get a connect 9600/REL instead
of a connect 9600. I have no idea what the /REL means, but then I'm no
expert on modems. The speaker volume when set to low still sounds loud to
me..
