Mark: I've never seen anyone go so far off the deep end in attempting to defend a computer against criticism. Face the truth, Mark: the IDE controller in the Amiga 4000 is defective and that's why Commodore is reputed to have corrected it by a motherboard upgrade. Your statement that you "will not tolerate [me] coming in here and trashing the Amiga just because you don't understand" is pretentious and laughable. Almost as laughable as your recent demands that people stop posting all negative remarks about Commodore. Mark, all you're doing is making yourself look foolish. I asked my question and got my answer (from people who frankly seem to be in far better contact with reality than you) and that's all I really wanted. Now why don't you just let the matter drop? You'd do yourself a lot less damage that way. Jerry
