Sounds like they want to sell you a new computer. I'm trying to
upgrade my A2000 to 2.04 to match my A3000. I hope I am not going to find
myself in the same boat as you. I also have to upgrade my hard disk
controller. My current hard disk is an aging 2090. I have found a 2090a
(fortunately I have a SCSI hard disk) from the grapevine group that supposedly
has the correct revision ROMs.
Good luck anyway and if I find the ROMS anywhere else I send you note
