This works great for pre-lofted objects however here is my situation.
i will try to explain the best I can without you seeing the model.
Say I create a box in the editor 100 units long and 50 units wide, On
the right side of the box I would like remove a section of it 25
units long and 25 units deep in the center of the box so that you are
left with an object that resembles a "C". To create and fillet the
vertical inside segments of the cutaway I can loft a small box with
rounded corners and do a boolean subtraction, however to also fillet
the horizontal segments of the cutaway I have to create more objects
such as a cylinder-box boolean and then boolean again on the original
object.
Maybe I'm missing something but it seems that if there were a fillet
command in the 3d editor this would be a whole lot easier. Can I add
this to the wish list for release 4 ??? This is just a small example
as some of the models I'm working on are much more complex and this
would save alot of modeling time. Thanks,
