William,
In Section/Library 9 of the AmigaVendor forum (GO AMIGAVEND), you will
find just the program that you are looking for — it is called AutoPilot
(funny coincidence, no?). The file that you want is AP.LHA. You will
also want to download the documentation, which is kept in a _separate_
file.
Autopilot requires version 2.04 or higher of the Amiga operating
system, so you probably won't be able to use it on your 1000, but it
should work fine on your 4000. It is a commercial product (whose cost
will be more than offset by your savings in online charges). The version
that you can download is a usable demo (with some features disabled).
Once you have used it and decide to purchase it, you can register online
(GO SWREG) and have the demo converted to the full version.
Highly Recommended.
Hope this helps….
