Steve, I tried your example, and lo and behold, the texture axis for linear did not keep it's diferent positions. Once the object is saved, the information is lost. No need to even go into the stage, just reload the object and you'll see that the texture axis info for one of the states was not retained. I have an object that does not have this problem, and who'se texture axis is maintained throughout the 2 states. I tried all I could to get the PLAID example to work. Then it dawned on me, that the object I have that works, only has one texture. I removed the Plaid.itx, leaving only linear.itx, and the texture axis now maintains it's position. You can re-order your textures so that plaid is number 2 in priority, leaving linear in the first spot. Apparently right now there is a bug where only the first texture's axis info is retained. Thanks for sticking this one out with me, otherwise I couldn't have found this bug. I'll let Impulse know first thing tomorrow. -GreG
