I, too, had one of those Adaptec EISA cards. I'm not sure if I have the latest BIOS, though. I do know I had a collision between QEMM, Adaptec, Ethernet and who knows what, resulting in a CONFIG.SYS that starts out: DEVICE=C:\QEMM\DOSDATA.SYS REM Fix Exception 13 problems with UltraStors DEVICE=C:\QEMM\ULTRAFIX.SYS REM UltraStor ASPI, between DOSDATA and QEMM, don't scan x300 Ethernet DEVICE=USPI14.SYS /F /X300 DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS RAM XST=C000 R:2 DEVICE=C:\QEMM\DOS-UP.SYS @C:\QEMM\DOS-UP.DAT DEVICE=C:\QEMM\LOADHI.SYS /R:1 C:\QEMM\QDPMI.SYS SWAPFILE=DPMI.SWP SWAPSIZE=1024 Of course, this setup wouldn't work with QEMM's automatic install program, so it had to be tweaked by hand after hours of confusion and tech support calls.
