Before I am tempted in the direction of the Flyer Frank, I too would like to see it with my own eyes – preferably also connected to a Tek' waveform monitor and vectorscope – and and engineering grade monitor. I agree, it sounds great from all the published waffle… so far. My son-in-law uses the player so that he is able to do quick and nasty assembly edits in the normal linear way, also to see stuff raw when it comes in. Personally I would like to see re-writeable laser type storeage – rather than magnetic, but think that will come in due time. All the best, Hilary
