The D2 claim has been around since the earliest toaster days, since the toaster used the D2 digital format for its framestores and internal processing. NewTek claiming d2 quality is perhaps obscure, and possibly misleading, since there is no real way to get a d2 signal into the flyer, but I think it is honest, and based upon statistics of the hardware's bandwidth and signal processing techniques. As a pure marketing claim, D2 is too obscure a term to be valuable.
