I think, your brother should first upgrade the AmigaDOS to at least 2.05 or
perhaps to 3.1 to have a plenty of tools coming with the system software. With
that software he gets a tool caled CrossDOS, which gives him the possibility to
read/write DD/HD PC disks (depending on the floppy drive built in – DD or HD).
You already have that ability on your mac, I think. So you should than be able
to transfer the programs.
BTW, if your brother does NOT upgrade his AmigaDOS, he will surely get some
problems running newer programs, because most of them NEED at least
Workbench/Kickstart 2.0 or higher!
